Lisa Ruby (principal) contributes twenty plus years of corporate sales, training, marketing and management experience to Ruby & Associates. In her former career, Lisa was in the top 1% of national sales repeatedly for a Fortune 500 company. Her areas of expertise include executive coaching, sales training, management and administration development and fundraising. Lisa’s most interesting consulting experience to date was flying into a remote area of Northern Canada in January and sleeping on an army cot for the week to train staff and volunteers. Lisa is the oldest child in the Ruby family and is the organized one who gets the job done!
Nathan Ruby (principal) has nearly twenty years of fundraising and management experience, including the role of executive director of an international charity. His early careers in sales and financial planning make him a uniquely qualified fundraiser. His career spans diverse worldwide development programs as well as experience in major gifts, annual funds, planned giving, government relations, and direct mail. It is not uncommon for Nathan to consult with clients while he travels the far corners of the globe and has found himself in some interesting, and even violent, political disputes. In the Ruby family, Nathan is the middle child and is the one who builds friendships and can talk to anyone about anything.
Eileen Ruby Setti (principal) began her career fifteen years ago as a fundraiser. Since then, Eileen has led communities in organizing new nonprofit agencies, directed program and agency mergers and expansions, created development programs, and has been instrumental in rebuilding agencies on the verge of closing their doors. Eileen’s expertise is in planning, board development and visioning. Eileen is currently pursuing her doctorate with an emphasis in nonprofit management and development at Northern Illinois University. Eileen weaves social research into the fiber of the consulting services provided by Ruby & Associates. Boards and staffs love working with Eileen because she always brings toys and candy to the meetings. Eileen is the youngest in the Ruby family and she is the one who likes to put everyone at ease with humor.
